There is no better time of year than Opening Day. Mets baseball is back and I took the family to Citi Field for the home opener to continue the tradition of so many years that I lost count!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather, a better result on the field, and most importantly better behavior from our little one. She stayed calmly in her seat (aside from times she was chanting, clapping, and dancing) until the middle of the 7th, and survived long enough standing at field level, for us to catch the offensive explosion before really losing it, and for no other reason than being completely exhausted.
All in all, it was another smooth opening day for this family of 3 and thanks to the Mets for creating yet another family memory and allowing us to continue our tradition of Mets Opening Day baseball!
Until next time…
