As impressive as this line drive shot was when it left the park in a matter of seconds, Cespedes seemed equally impressed as he sure took his time admiring his work. Funny thing is, I received a text from a not too happy Nats fan pal seconds later commenting how classy Yoenis was for not following with an over the top bat flip, but is admiring your work any better? Someone should ask the Phillies and see what they think, because they’ve already expressed some displeasure during this past series at Citi Field.

All that being said, this is the perfect example of why he needs to remain a Met for the long term. He makes Citi Field look small and he clearly is not impacted (mentally or physically) by the spacious confines in Flushing.
