While this is good news, we have quickly learned that Travis d’Arnaud is fragile, which has been the case his whole career (as young as it is). He is seemingly always nicked and dinged up as minor things linger and sometimes turn into major things. He has trouble staying on the field, but as we saw earlier this season, when he is healthy he is a force to be reckoned with in the lineup. Hopefully as he matures and continues to develop, he will find a routine and a way to get his body strong enough to avoid the amount of injuries that he has endured early on, for both his sake and the Mets.
