David Wright, who during his recovery from a hamstring injury experienced a setback last week when he started experiencing lower back pain, will be resuming baseball activities tomorrow. According to Collins, Wright, who was prescribed rest and given anti-inflamatories, is ready to get back on the field and hopefully will be ready to re-join the Mets in another week or so. Not that the team has missed him much, going 15-8 in his absence, but in all seriousness with the return of Captain America and the potential of his bat to this anemic offense, the future can only look brighter.

Before the injury, Wright has batting .333 through 8 games with a home run, four batted in and two steals. If he is truly healthy, he should provide a much needed jolt to the current Mets lineup.
