wrightweb15s-webAccording to Rotoworld.com:

Mets manager Terry Collins said Tuesday that David Wright (hamstring) will begin baseball activities “soon.”
Wright was given a cortisone shot last week when he was placed on the 15-day disabled list and the hope is that it will expedite his recovery from a mild right hamstring strain. The veteran third baseman is aiming to return when he is first eligible. Eric Campbell is filling in at the hot corner for the Mets.
IMG_0330This is encouraging news for the Mets offense, especially after just losing d’Arnaud and Blevins. Am I confident or optimistic that he will return when eligible? No, as tweaks or Mets things always happen in situations when things seem to be going so well. Then again, things haven’t been so Mets-like this year (aside from all of the injuries) so hopefully my pessimism will be proven wrong.
